Die sámische Tradition zeichnet sich durch eine tief verwurzelte immaterielle Seite aus. Der Umgang mit Natur und Transzendenz in sámischer Weltauffassung vermittelt uns eine tiefe diesseitige Spiritualität. Untersucht werden dabei Fragen der Identität, des kulturellen Erbes, des Handelns und der Wahrnehmung der Welt. Die Fotos fangen das nicht Greifbare, unsere eigene Empfindung des Augenblicks und des Genius loci, ein.

Soul of the landscape

Since their tradition is characterized by a deeply rooted intangible side, Sámi people, which have been taken part of this landscape since thousends of years, are able to face the transcendence as well as to bring spirituality on this side. With my photos I address questions of identity, cultural heritage, action and perception of the world, to capture exactly this intangible, the sensation of a moment and a genius loci.
